Work on Windows: Socially distanced artwork created for the Herbert Art    Gallery and Museum Aug 2020 – Sep 2020 One of five artist commissioned to create socially distanced artwork during the Covid19 lockdown.

The Shop Windows

Lenticular artwork, created from the Masterji archive. Showcased across the shop windows of the old ikea building in coventry, for the Coventry City of Culture 2021.

Through the glass

Amazing Women – Through the glass – City of Culture Trust and British Council May 2021 to May 2022  Changemakers Bursary project: digital project with an artist Saba Zahid Zahir in Pakistan, focusing on women working in the pandemic through blog spot, Facebook, Instagram and a virtual gallery.

International Artist Residency

Artist Residency with Something Useful Project Gujarat (SUP_Gujarat) and Sarvajenik University India, Jan 10 2025 to March 31 2025. Three month artist residency, explored themes of family, place and identity through workshops and class times. These themes encouraged participants to reflect on their own histories, identities, and creative expressions through diverse artistic mediums, resulting in a deeply personal and thought-provoking body of work. This led to a final public exhibition.

  • Studio installation, of art work home is? Photographs were placed at different levels and angles, on walls, floor, desk. The room was also decorated with decorative furnishings that you would find in an india home.

International Artist Residency

Artist Residency with Something Useful Project Gujarat (SUP_Gujarat) and Sarvajenik University India, Jan 10 2025 to March 31 2025. As part of my residency I developed my work looking at the connections of my own family in the Gujarat. As someone from the global majority diaspora, and a British South Asian, I visited my parent’s ancestral homes, two small villages near Navsari in the Gujarat. Producing an installation piece of photography, and film.

WMCA Activate Skills Development Grants, Oct-Nov 2024

This grant was used to learn about medium format photography, including box camera and darkroom familiarisation. Introducing to printing large format workshop and developing.
The grant was also used to study online arts management and curator courses.
